Sleep

I've been having a lot of trouble sleeping. I'm not a particularly light sleeper, but if i wake up, i'll be awake for a long time, no matter how tired. the problem is when i wake up i keep thinking the same thing over and over. it's not very useful either. last night i kept thinking of the phrase 'it's not so bad its good, it's worse than so bad its good' and where i could apply the phrase. i thought about this for over an hour...

i saw an interview with andrew denton a long time ago where he said he had a problem where he would wake up at night, think of a great idea, but then would fall asleep again and forget about the idea in the morning..someone suggested to him that he keep a pen and paper beside his bed to write down the ideas when he thinks of them. he said he did this and when he woke up in the morning he found the paper had 'oh my god is that the time' written on it five times.
